Programme Delivery Lead

Role Purpose:

The Programme Delivery Lead will be working within the Strategic Programme Team, coordinating with all of our Technology Global Teams both in London and Bologna. The successful candidate is a problem solver in an agile project environment and his/her main goal is to ensure the Strategic Programme deliveries, removing impediments that slow down the project delivery and impede the Technology Programme team from achieving their objectives accordingly to Business’ guidelines.

 

Main responsibilities include:

  • Planning and co-ordination of all activities related to managing End-to-End delivery of the Business outcome. Including, but not limited to: managing cross team dependencies and coordinating with Delivery Managers and/or Project Managers.
  • Coordinating with the Release Manager in order to agree on a release plan
  • Co-ordination of environment usage with the Release Manager and Test Managers
  • Facilitate pre-production and production environment requirements by coordinating with Infrastructure and E-commerce Operations teams
  • Plan testing phases for the Strategic Programme by coordinating with the release Testing Team
  • Coordinate with Migration Leads, Service Readiness and Business Readiness to empower bringing the new Platform into production
  • Build all of his/her activites into the overall Strategic Programme plan and track progress

Skills and Experience

  • Strong Project / Programme Management background
  • Seniority equal to 3+ years of experience in a Programme management role
  • Previous e-commerce related experience within a Company or a Web Agency
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Result-oriented, proactive and spirit of initiative
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good comprehension of business logics and needs
  • Good command of both Italian and English language
  • Knowledge of agile practices and project management tools (i.e. Target process, Jira, Mingle, Pivotal Tracker, Ms Project, Confluence, Clarizen…);
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills combined with the ability to lead group discussions and explain complex solutions.
