    We are now looking for a Junior Buyer to join our YOOX Buying team.


    Key Responsabilities

    • Assisting the Buyers and Buying Manager in achieving the team seasonal buy budget;
    • Selecting products based on fashion trends and based on sales trends of the previous season;
    • Negotiating supply terms of sale, payment and delivery;
    • Constant monitoring of KPIs of sales and margin of the sourced Brands;
    • Working with Back Office and Operations in managing product arrival schedule;
    • Working with Pricing analysts to provide all the proper information for correct price strategy of the sourced brands in the different markets;
    • Feedback and weekly recap of the ongoing buying campaign to Buyer and Buying Manager;


    The ideal candidate has a university degree, preferably in economics, and 2 years experience as a Junior Buyer for a structured fashion business or a multi-brand department store. She or he has a sharp business sense and a strong passion for the world of fashion, good aesthetic sense and a personal interest in new trends. Since frequent travelling is required, the candidate must be flexible and available to spend time travelling for business. Off-price experience is not mandatory but the candidate must demonstrate an enthusiasm and interest in the off-price business.


    • Proven commercial experience of trading in a fast paced and reactive environment
    • Negotiation skills
    • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Word
    • Perfectly speaking English
    • Knowledge of either French or Spanish is not mandatory, but will be highly valued.
    • A sense of personal style and a keen eye for detail
