    With 8 digital production centers and  8 distribution centres in Italy, the United States, Japan, China and Hong Kong, the YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP is active on a global scale, delivering to more than 180 countries around the world, with the strength of a consolidated local approach: content localized in 11 different languages, size conversion, 10 different currencies accepted to date, along with local payment systems, dedicated couriers and much more. The Operations department is responsible for Distribution Logistics, Digital Production, International Content & Localization, Customer Care & Loss Prevention, International Operations and Quality & Innovation.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Translation, proofreading, and copywriting of content including marketing, product, editorial, functional, SEO, content etc. into the relevant language using the CAT (Computer Aided Translation) system adopted by the Group
    • Collecting, drafting and updating style guides, glossaries and translation memories for the group's stores localized in the relevant language
    • Supporting the Search Engine Optimization of the sites for the relevant languages and markets
    • Supporting the recruitment of external translators, aligning their work to content guidelines and evaluating their performance
    • In-context linguistic quality assurance (LQA) of localized content prior to publication
    • Web editing and content management in the relevant language by means of the content management system (CMS)


    Linguistic Knowledge:

    • Japanese: mother tongue
    • Italian: fluent, spoken and written (level C1-C2)
    • English: fluent, spoken and written (level C1-C2)
    • Knowledge of an additional language is a plus


    • 1 - 2 years of experience in a similar position
    • Proven knowledge of and/or experience in the fashion world


    • Fashion school or Humanities graduate oriented towards languages or communication

    IT Knowledge:

    • Familiarity with CAT (Computer Aided Translation) tools and/or CMSs (Content Management Systems). Knowledge of SDL Trados Studio is preferred
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
