    The Man Product Developer will be the owner of the specific macro category across the brands regarding the selection, interactions, integration and assortment for all the suppliers. All these activities are oriented at obtaining the best retail margin possible. It is his/her responsibilities to negotiate best conditions as possible.

     

    Key Responsabilities

    • Developing new products to meet customers’ needs for the specific macro category of each brand
    • Following the directions of the document developed by the Merchandising Team, in terms of Retail Price, Depth and Quantities
    • Follow the Product development from the prototyping and fitting phases, till the PO release
    • Optimize fabric/ materials and accessories across all labels
    • Create the best methodology to reduce the time to market
    • Improve the reduction of suppliers if needed
    • Improve quality of the product
    • Together with the Merchandising Team, overview on the product publications

     

    The ideal candidate has at least 3-4 years’ experience as Product Developer. He or She needs to be capable to read the hidden potential of labels and interact in a safe and smart manner with merchandising team and external manufacturer.

    Other requirements:

    • Excellent Problem Solving ability is required
    • Excellent knowledge of the product development process (production, fabrics, planning, pricing, procurement etc.)
    • Strong Commercial approach
    • Deep understanding of latest fashion trends
    • Good knowledge of Excel, pivot and formulas.
    • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English;
    • Knowledge of PowerPoint is a plus;
    • Mental flexibility and resourcefulness.
    • Suggested knowledge of PLM Centric
