    Role Purpose

    The Chief of Staff is responsible for instilling effective business planning and high standards of people management.  This person will take an active role in contributing to the organization’s success. 

     

    The selected candidate will frequently manage confidential and sensitive information; professionalism, responsiveness, attention to detail and discretion are required at all times.  

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    General Business Management:

    • CPO's right-hand for critical analysis, strategic planning, project management, execution of initiatives and management of internal processes for growth
    • Help ensure Department Heads understand and meet goals, including management of their departmental org chart, and business KPI’s
    • Coordinate business wide procedures and work to improve existing processes for maximum clarity, efficiency and success
    • Taking the Lead role on Special Projects that originate at the Exec Level, including presentations, reports, research, budgets,

     

    General Administration and Organization:

    • Keep agenda/minutes at meetings with CPO and both internal and external stakeholders
    • Follow-up on action items, identifying projects, assigning them to the relevant Business Leads and driving these new ideas to implementation

     

    Skills & Experience

    • MBA + 3 years post mba work experience in similar role
    • Critical and strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex problems
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
    • Experience leading and managing people
    • Ability to build relationships and negotiate
    • Strong desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high-energy and mission-driven colleagues
    • Excellent data analysis, reporting and project management skills
    • Ability to work independently and effectively with little oversight or management
    • Ability to read between the lines and intuitively anticipate the needs and priorities of the business
    • Ability to manage highly sensitive issues under tight deadlines
    • Advanced knowledge and ability to leverage Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
